Payment Policy

The Window Scene accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Return Policy

Items may be returned within seven days of receipt of the item. The item must be in its original packaging and unused condition. If you wish to return an item, contact us for a Return Authorization number. There is a 30% restocking fee on all returned items. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping is the responsibility of the consumer. Returned items should be free from dirt and debris (including pet dander and smoke). In the event an item is returned in a condition where it cannot be resold, the order will be sent back to you and additional shipping charges will apply. We offer free shipping on several of our items. If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost on the original shipment. Standard shipping costs are based on item prices as outlined within our shipping information. If you opt to exchange your free shipping purchase for another item that also had free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added to cover our costs. Made-to-order or custom products are not returnable and are final sale. In addition to our custom window treatments, the following items are made-to-order, and as such are non-refundable:

All bedding
All DwellStudio products
All Ren-Wil products
All artwork
All furniture

If you are unsure as to whether or not the item you are ordering is returnable, please contact us to verify.

Upon delivery, please take time to inspect all items carefully for any damage that may have occurred in transit and contact us immediately if there are any issues. Claims against damaged items must be made within 3 business days. Unfortunately, claims made after the 3 business day window will not be accepted and are unable to be returned.

Cancellations

A custom order may be cancelled within 24 hours of the time you place your order, and the amount will be refunded to your credit card. After 24 hours, custom orders are non-refundable. We regret that we cannot make any exceptions to this rule.

Disclaimers

Due to the differences in character and content of fabric, we allow a leeway tolerance of + or - 1" in length and width for our window treatments.
